Tomorrow's Weather Question...

I am absolutely LOVING this warm weather here in the Tri-State, but have a question for everyone.

My LO is 6 weeks old and I am wondering if it will be warm enough to take her on a walk outside tomorrow? Of course, in her stroller with a blanket and warmer clothes and during the peak of the day when it's the warmest? Or is it still too soon to take her out in the 60's?

I'm so stir crazy, I just want to get her outside! If not, then we're going to Kenwood Mall to walk around :)

Re: Tomorrow's Weather Question...

  • It will definitely be warm enough for her, it's supposed to be almost 70 tomorrow!  I'd have her in a cotton sleeper or onesie and pants...you may not even really need a blanket, or just a light one should do.  Enjoy the weather!

  • Go for it! She will be fine! We took H for walks at the park right after he was born and I took L out tonight while H played!

  • I had my 6 week old DD outside today.  It was too nice not to take DS outside for a bit.  I had her in a long sleeve onesie, pants, a jacket with a hood, and kept a lightweight blanket on her since it was a little breezy at my house.  Go for it!

  • OMGosh! I'm so excited now! I wish I would have taken her out today, but the "new mom" in me questions so many things!
  • You're definitely good - I took DS out all the time starting his first week (granted we lived in Seattle, so it wasn't freezing, but it wasn't warm either).  I would just put him in the moby, make sure he was dressed warm enough, and he was good :)
