I know the ad you are talking about and another clinic as well that does spots on the radio in Boston as well. Interestingly enough, I chose not to go to either of those 2 clinics based on feedback I had received when looking for my 2nd opinion.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

No, but I have seen ads for our cardiology clinic, cancer center, etc (our hospital, clinics, and insurance are all "in bed" with each other, they merged last April...not even sure how that's legal). And I've heard a lot of radio ads for another local hopital/clinic system's maternity services (not RE though--don't think they have an RE office).
I am also in Boston and have heard ads for our RE (RSC) on the radio, but haven't seen any TV ads.
ETA: I also don't think there's anything negative about them having ads on TV or radio. Anything that gets the word out about IF and treatment is a good thing, IMO.

Nope - ours is hospital/university affiliated and that was part of my reasoning for choosing them.
Same clinic. :-) but I have heard a LOT of radio ads for another fertility clinic in the area lately. While maybe it is good to get the word out and perhaps it helps to destigmatize IF, they can be kind of weird. One ad was promoting the pre-emptive freezing of eggs in case you don't want to start a family until later in life...and made it sound like freezing your eggs was not only easy but also a guaranteed way to preserve your fertility. It just didnt sit right with me.
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
Never seen TV commericals for them but man does RMA do a lot of interviews on shows! My RE's office was all over the news a few years back because one of the nurses murdered her husband and she was having an affair with one of the RE.
I do however seen billboards all over the place. Everytime we walk by the one in our local mall we laugh because I don't think we would have noticed it we didn't go through treatment!

Which Boston clinic does TV adds? The RSC commercials bother me (not because they are advertising, the just do for some reason) but I didn't choose not to use them for that reason...more that the Dr. Looked at me and asked "so, why are you here?"...thought that was pretty self explanatory!
"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasured day you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart...let me hold you while I may."
RMA-NJ was my orig clinic and yes they have ads all over NJ. My dh thinks is an atrocity for them to advertise, but some other medical procedures IVF is very much an elective surgery, and there is clearly lots of choices in our area for it. I know Cornell I noticed only advertisers for egg donors.
cornell actually had a full page ad in ny magazine's 'best doctors' issue. I cut it out and had it on our fridge for months. "having trouble having a baby?"...
the tv ad just struck me as odd for some reason -- almost desperate(?) but at the same time it's kinda cool because it makes IF "mainstream." like I said, I've never seen anything like it before.
it was for cardone & associates (outside of boston.)
2 infertiles' journey to 2 pink lines (and a baby girl) "our IF story"
I've not seen one on TV. A large RE office here (with offices statewide) has tons of radio ads though, and mine (the largest one in my city) has a few.

Mine doesn't but there is one in the area that does radio commercials but not t.v.
