Induction Tonight @ 1:00am!

Yesterday when my doc told me I needed to be induced due to pre-e I was a bit sad and scared. Today I feel much more optimistic and happy... and excited to meet my little girl.

I know I need to try and get some rest but I am too excited. LOL

Anyone else getting induced tonight or tomorrow?

Good luck, so excited for you!! Why on earth do they start inductions in the middle of the night?

I was a little shocked my the 1:00am appointment time too. Probably because it is a slower time in L&D I guess.

I am going in this evening at 8 for mine. I went in for my appt. today, and the doctor said I was a prime candidate for induction. I am dilated to 3, more than 80% effaced but not having regular contractions. I didn't think I'd be going in this evening. I tried to nap but I am too excited, and a little nervous. Good luck! Can?t wait to see pics of your little girl!

Exciting! I will be going in on Friday night for my induction. Doc said his plans for me are to start with cervadil, let that work over night and then start pitocin in the morning if I haven't started contracting on my own. Best wishes for an easy and fast labor!
