  I lost a little bit of it about a week ago and pretty sure I lost the rest of it this past Sunday. As of Friday I still was not dilated. I am very curious to see if I have started to dilate at my next appt. this Friday.

  I lost mine before Christmas and didn't dilate at all until 37 weeks when they decided to induce for pre-e and I was only 1cm! Hope it is different for you girls!

  This doesn't make sense to me at all...isn't the mucus plug INSIDE the opening of the cervix?  So how would it get out unless you are dialated enough to let it out?

  I had been losing mine during the 10 days before I went into labor, but when I went to L&D I was only at 1cm.

  I lost mine at 38 weeks.  I am now 41w2d, and nothing is happening!  I've been fluctuating between 0cm to 2cm dilation.  So, in my experience, losing the MP means nada!  Although, all my friends that lost theirs went into labor within two weeks.  Good luck!

  I also lost mine at the dr, it was 4 days before my water broke but at the appt when I lost it I wasn't dialated either.
