Hi Ladies,
Well last night I took 4 pregnancy tests and they were all positive!!!! I currently have a GYN in White Marsh but will now need one closer to home. I would welcome recommendations for OB/GYNs in Baltimore City, (possibly University of Maryland).
Thanks!!
Re: OB/GYN Recommendations Baltimore City
Congratulations! I highly recommend the Hoffman group. They are based at Mercy Medical Center and have offices in town and in Catonsville. Many of my doula clients and tons of my childbirth edu. students have delivered with them and most have great things to say about that practice. Having seen them "in action" during labor I can say that they are exceptionally supportive to a mother's choices in labor. If you are very partial to UMD I would recommend the midwives that work there, Jan Kreibs would be the contact. Remember if you see someone for a while and decide the fit is not right you always have the options of switching. If you have any questions about other practitioners or pregnancy feel free to PM me. I am always around.

I delivered at U of MD. I saw the midwives, but my vbac didn't go as planned and I had a c-section with Dr Blanchard. With the midwives, you meet everyone in the group, and I was really really happy with my treatment there. The only negative I will say is that I went back to L&D twice after my c-section because I ended up with 2 infections, and the residents saw me and Dr Blanchard didn't know about all the details, I guess because she wasn't my main OB.
I don't know if you go around and see everyone in the group for the OB, but I do recommend the midwives. The practice is on Redwood Street.
