Thank you for those who gave suggestions on my Potty Training Post. I have one problem though, DSs poop is NEVER solid, always mushy stick to the butt type. He is 28 months and never ever ever goes normal. I have been to 2 pedis about this and they dont seem to think its a big deal. Hes a terrible eater and the foods he does eat arent very binding. He drinks NO milk what soever so that would even help. Any suggestions of what you would do? Im at my witts end, we are going to dr again today where I plan to bring it up AGAIN!!
I could see this be extremely messy with potty training, but hes ready, I know he is, also his urologist wants me to start. ( ive asked him too, no help!)
Any help, Please =(
Re: Ok I need help (sort of gross)
Well poop does get mushed up in a diaper. I always thought DS's poop was mushy until I saw it going straight into a toilet where it wasn't.
Other than trying to change his diet, I don't see what more you can do or why it would hinder anything. Potty training is messy either way.

Potty training is messy anyway-
I think this is just one bullet you are going to have to bite. Unless you can change his diet- and we all know that is a pretty hilarious thought when it comes to toddlers.
Nope.
What goes in must come out.
What is going in is causing how it comes out. If you can't change the cause- you aren't going to change the effect. Is it bad? nope. Now if you told me your LO constantly had diahrrea- now that is different. I am sure it is all fine.
The less you stress about eating- the easier it will become.
you can SERIOUSLY drive yourself crazy over toddler eating. Trust me. Been there.
It eases up once you stop stressing over it. I swear they can sense the stress.
I would do this too unless you think he won't like the big toilet for some reason. We went straight to the toilet and the clean-up is basically non-existent. That wasn't the reason we didn't buy a small potty but it sure was a nice extra.
