Anyone have fun plans for the long weekend coming up? I'm trying to come up with some fun things to do, especially because the weather may actually be nice. Give me ideas!
I hate to burst your bubble, but I think it's only supposed to be really nice on Friday. Then back to the 40's. That being said, I think I'm going to take off on Friday and meet some SAHM friends for a park playdate. Saturday, we're going up to Cross Street Market in Bmore to meet up with friends and family.
Other than that, I have no idea. It really annoys me that there is still so much snow and slush and mud. I would love to go hiking with the dogs, but the footing is still so crappy.
I'm going to California! Which is probably not the most helpful idea, but I'm excited :-) I'm visiting my BFF, and we're doing some wine tasting in the Russian River Valley and then heading to Oregon for a day or two. Can't wait!

Have a great time!
We're spending it with the in-laws, they haven't met Mr. Baby yet.
Ditto that, but I'm taking off Friday to have some time for myself. But my plans won't be much help to you either - other than hanging out at the park with a friend and her son (while DD is in daycare), I'll be running errands, lolling on the porch in the sunshine and logging time with my DVR. Other than that, it's a usual weekend for us.
My BFF is flying in from Boston on Friday and my shower is Sunday! Yay! I'm so excited. My friend has a 2-year-old son and she's just happy to have a break for a few days. So, all she really wants to do is sleep in, eat out at a restaurant in peace and not have to clean up after anyone. I have very little energy so we will most likely just be eating ice cream and watching cheesy 80s movies all weekend, which sounds perfect to me but not much help for you if you're looking for ideas to get you out of the house.
My ILs are coming to visit and DH and FIL are going to work on finishing the basement. While they're here, they are also going to babysit so that DH and I can go out to dinner and a movie--as long as the cold that DH caught from the rest of us doesn't turn him into a big snotty lump. I don't have high hopes for this, as this morning, when he started feeling the slightest bit sick, he started popping DayQuil pills and saying "How did you function last week?"
While I appreciate the sympathy now, I just want to laugh and say, "Wait until Thursday or Friday, then we'll talk about how miserable you are."

What long weekend? Oh right...
Well, Bee has off from school but his aftercare I think is open.
But I will have an awesome birthday gift Friday with the weather.
