Breast Pump Moms

I guess this question really applys to anything that you sanitize for LO but Im getting everything sanitized with my breast pump so that its semi ready to go when I need it... The sanitizer I have you put water in the bottom and it steams everything at super high temp... question is when I pull it out everything is still wet, do I dry everything off or let it air dry?

This may sounds stupid but any answers or tips would be great!

Re: Breast Pump Moms

  • I usually just put everything on a drying rack and let it air dry.

Just be really careful with the tubing if you clean that.  I got mold in them because there was water left in the tubes.  I now plug them into the pump and let it run for a little while without any bottles on to get the water/moisture out.

  • I actually used the high temp/sterile feature on our dishwasher and then let the parts and bottles dry like that.  It worked out great.  If you are going to use another method then I would air dry.
