Hawaii Babies

What blogs are you reading these days?

I have several of your blogs that I follow (Malia, Sarah, Jaime, Lori, Lisa in Oz, Lisa K, Sara, Renee, etc....)

I also like KelleHampton's Enjoying the Small Things and read it a few times a week...https://www.kellehampton.com

Here's some new ones I've found and am enjoying...

It's Twinsanity!

https://www.itstwinsanity.com/

This military wife has 6 kids...including 2 sets of identical twins! She's a doula and into natural parenting. She homebirthed her twins!!! Her blog is fascinating.

The Foster Family

A single momma with twins, I've been following this blog for a couple of years...

Single Mom:Rocking It Solo

https://singlemomsolo.blogspot.com

This mom filed for divorce when she was 8 months pregnant because her husband was using drugs and cheating on her. Her son is just over a year old now...

I also read Peaceful Parenting at https://www.drmomma.org

Okay, your turn...post the blogs you're enjoying these days!

Re: What blogs are you reading these days?

  • I'm at work now but the ones I follow are in the side of my blog. I follow several of the ladies here (although I haven't added them all to my blog yet), I'm a slacker!

I love the babyrabies blog, one of my faves! She's so honest about things.

  • Lori, yaaaay for The Foster Family! She's awesome and a poster on the Multiples board. Truly an amazing woman.

*whispers* I know this is practically blasphemy on the Bump since she's "one of us" but I can't stand that blog. I don't find it honest so much as massively AW-ish. Embarrassed

Except for people I know, I don't really read baby blogs. A couple of my favorite non-baby ones...

Hyperbole and a Half (funniest.blog.ever. Seriously. If you do nothing else, read this story.)

Tom and Lorenzo, aka ProjectRungay - good for fashion, but they also do superb TV commentary and I don't normally read that kind of thing (after each episode of Mad Men, Ben and I literally race to our computers afterward to read what they wrote about it - they're just so spot on and insightful).

I used to read the Pioneer Woman, but she got so heavily sponsored that it started annoying me (same thing for Young House Love). Can't say I blame her (or YHL) since it's how she makes her living, but it doesn't mean I have to enjoy it, or keep reading her blog. I do still get an RSS feed of the Photography section though. Smile

I'm not really a blog-reader, but I do check this one from time to time.  LOVE it!

This one is my all-time favorite.

LOL I love that one! I also adore the one with the hate spiral ("Stop blowing on me!" to the wind) and the one about why she'll never be a grown-up ("Clean ALL the stuff?").

  • I have not heard of baby rabies

If I remember right we share the same opinion w/regards to a home blog so I'll just take your word for it and not waste my time and exasperated sighs.

To respond to the OP, I actually don't read baby blogs, with the exception of some of you guys that I remembered to add to my blog feed.  I mostly just read some home blogs and then ones for work.

  • I started to read this one https://twinsandtriathlons.blogspot.com/. How the heck to you have twins and still have time and energy to exercise so much?!

I mostly read blogs of people I know but I do like her blog. I liked the one about tantrums... I guess it's because she makes me feel a little less guilty for feeling like there are days when I could go crazy...

That said, I hate blogs with a ton of sponsors. It drives me crazy! I can't stand seeing all the pop ups and such. I just want to read the blog and go on not look at ads.

I do tend to read a ton of crafting blogs. I'm a little crafty so I search them for inspiration but I'm not half as good or creative as most of them are.
