Re: XP: pink and blue girl nursery PIPs
yes yes yes please
Thanks! Here is the pillow seller. But a warning, the pillows took a very long time. It said 5-7 weeks on the site, but it was more like 10-11 weeks. They turned out so cute though!
And the curtain fabric is from fabric.com.
Really great job! Our nursery is actually VERY similar (even the placement of the crib/glider/window/dresser is the same layout as our nursery). We also have a pink/blue nursery (blue walls are leftover from the boys and we didn't want to paint), and we are also doing birds/owls because that happened to be the bedding I found from PBK that had pink/blue/green in it...we have a green glider
So....I already have my bedding, wall decal and frames over crib, but where I was stumped was a lamp for the dresser and what to put on the wall over the dresser. I love your hot pink lamp, where did you get that? That's the one color I am still trying to "bring into" the room and I was having a hard time finding a great accessory...and I need a lamp, so two birds - one stone
I also love the mirror you painted for over the dresser, did you find that mirror recently? Is it a wood material, did you brush paint or spray paint it?
Again, love the nursery, it's really helping me pull the last pieces of ours together!
We actually already had the lamp and we spray painted it pink. Finally found the right pink color at Michaels. And I got the mirror at Home Goods pretty recently, I bet they still have it. I used wall paint on it (actually copied the idea from Young House Love).
Honestly, it's just ok. The zipper on the back of the slipcover ripped when we were trying to close it over the chair (but you can't tell from the front). And DH thinks it could rock a little easier (might help if it was on a wood floor). It looks good though, and the price was right. I don't think DH would get it again, but I actually might because it was so much cheaper than the others I had found!

Wow, would it be awful if I ditched hubby on Valentine's night to go look for a mirror? LOVE it, thanks for the inspiration!

Etsy has a bunch in all sorts of colors. Just search "tissue pom pom."
You did such a great job! Love it!
I'm hoping they have that mirror at the Home Goods near me! I've been looking for something similar that I can paint.
