Hi Ladies,

I just moved to the area about a year ago from MO and DH and I don't have any friends or family up here.  I am a SAHM and DS will be 5 mo on Thursday.  I'm just looking for something fun to do up here since we are on a budget and it seems all we ever do is go out to eat since DH works weird hours.

    Welcome!  Where do you live?  I have a DS who will be six months next week.  We go to Evergreen Parent-Baby class once a week, and have lots of playdates/mommy dates to keep us busy.

    I second the Parent-Baby classes, we just love going to them and have made lots of great mama friends there (including, of course, the lovely mishquiche. ;)  When the weather is nicer we have a great zoo and aquarium, lots of nice parks...what part of the city/suburbs are you in?

    Hi and welcome!  I don't have a little one, yet, but I will in May.  I moved out here in '02 from IL, so I'm a fellow native midwesterner.  I hope you like it out here. I love it and this has been home since day 1.

    Welcome! You are in a great location as there seem to be more Mamas up in your neck of the woods, and you can meet up for play dates, walks, outings, whatever! We go to the Woodland Park Zoo and Science Center alot. Just depends on the day. We have memberships to both. We also like to hang out at Kid's Quest at the Factoria Mall. Once it is warmer, we go to parks and hike. Again welcome! This is  a great group of ladies.
