Well I dont usually post here I lurk and post over on the nest sometimes but this is my first pregnancy and I have a question....
Im 38 weeks today and Ive been having some irregular contractions and things here and there. I am already dilated to a 2.
Well I have been feeling totally weird all day....my mom thinks it could be bc its close to time but Im not sure. I dont really have a way to explain it..I have an odd feeling in my chest and everythings a little achy, and Ive just felt kinda gross and blah all day. Not my usual self.
Now I may just be nuts lol but like I said its my first pregnancy so I know nothing haha So have any of you ever heard of this before or had experiences like this?? I googled it and there were a few things about strange feelings right before they went into labor but I thought I'd see what you guys thought.......
Re: "Strange" or "weird" feelings before delivery???
I've been feeling like that about every other day here lately...lol. From this point on you could probably come up with something every.single.day that leads you to believe labor might be right around the corner. Try not to get too caught up in it otherwise you'll drive yourself crazy. Mentally prepare to be in this for AT LEAST 2 more weeks, and you'll be much better off.
ETA: more to your question, no with DS I had no idea I was going into labor that day. A few of my co-workers told me I looked like h#ll that day, but that's only an obersvation in hindsight.
Virtual high five there!
This. I am (like you) convinced EVERYTHING is labor related. Trying not to think about it, but seriously, how can you not think about it constantly. (first time mom here... maybe it gets easier the next time around.)
I have yet to see her associate everything as being related to labor. lol Who knows, maybe it was my imagination. *shrug*
Well I didnt either?? I am a little confused by that comment myself.
I definitely dont think everything is labor related but I was just wondering if anyone else had ever felt that way. It was my moms theory. I pretty much just chalked it up to a new level of crappy that my pregnancy has come to. I pretty much think its constant crappy lol
