Anyone have a good meatloaf recipe?

I haven't made meat loaf in such a long time (& it's one of DH's favorites). I need a good recipe. Thanks in advance!

Re: Anyone have a good meatloaf recipe?

  • I just follow the recipe that's on the back of the seasoning packet. Great every time! Stick out tongue

  • I use pretty standard ingredients (breadcrumbs, egg, worshestershire, seasonings) but my trick is to top it with BBQ sauce before throwing it in the oven.  It keeps it moist and gives it good flavor.

  • I follow the one on the back of the worchestshire bottle.  Comes out great every time and I don't normally like meatloaf.

  • There is a pretty good recipe on the back of a Lipton onion soup box. Kraft.com has some easy ones as well.
  • I love using half ground beef half ground pork. The flavor combo is great. I add breadcrumbs, egg, worcestershire, garlic powder, chopped onion, italian seasonings. Top with bbq half way through baking. YUM!

  • This is my favorite meatloaf EVER: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/turkey-meatloaf-recipe/index.html

However, I cut the recipe in half and we still have leftovers. Enjoy!

  • I use the recipe that is on the back of the lipton onion soup mix.

It's a packet of onion soup mix, ketchup, bread crumbs (I use italian style), eggs, and water. I also add some hot sauce to it.

  • I use ground turkey, Lipton Onion soup mix, Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, Ketchup, and an egg. Mix, Bake 350 for about an hour. I substitute the ground beef for turkey, but it tastes good with beef too if you don't have ground turkey.

  • I like to mix ground turkey, sun dried tomatoes, feta, and spinach together and bake it.

It has the eggs and bread crumbs too.

  • Google Good Eats Meatloaf...it's a Food Network recipe.  It is hands down the best meatloaf I've ever had...

  • I do not like ketchup on my meatloaf.. especially caked on cooked ewwwww

    so here is mine:

    1 lb ground beef

    1 egg

Little less than 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

dash of ground sage, garlic, and onion powder

    worshestershire sauce

    parsley flakes.

Preheat oven to 400. Put all ingredients together into the meat and make a loaf EXCEPT the worshestershire and parsley. After you make the loaf, pour the sauce over the top (not too much) and let it run down the sides... sprinkle parsley flakes on top.. COVER with aluminim foil for full 35 mins and last 5, take the aluminim off... that is the key to moisture!! It is SOOOOOO good!
