Gotta Love my Doctor and his "interesting talent"

So I went for my second internal yesterday and we started discussing options to help bring on labor next week. My Doc is a really funny guy. Good bedside manner, pretty laid back, Anyway, he said he would strip my membranes this week or next if I wanted and he goes "I'm pretty good at stripping membranes. I have really long fingers. Most women I strip go into labor in 24 to 48 hours.." DH busted out laughing...
Hey, we all have to have brag-able talents. LOL

Seriously! My OB won't strip my membranes until 41 weeks, and even then, they will only do it the day before an induction to see if they can get you to go naturally... Booo

That's funny! I wish my doctor would strip my membranes, but since I'm GBS+, she doesn't want to risk infection, so she recommended good old sex. We still haven't done it - it just doesn't sound very sexy at this point.
Here's hoping the membrane stripping goes as well as promised for you

Actually, his wife is the other doctor at their practice....and I saw she filed for divorce in the paper.
Maybe membrane stripping is his ONLY talent with those long fingers...
