Recommend your newborn diaper.

My son was born at 7 pounds and there is no way that our one size covers are going to fit any time soon.  

I was also going to use prefolds, but need some other suggestions that are pocket or aio with aplix for DH to use.  (the cheaper the better!)

    For and AIO, we've been liking BG XS for the past few weeks.  They are totally easy to use and have aplix.  They still fit my DD well at 9.5 lbs.

    Ugh, but they only have small (8-16lbs). 

    There are these BG newborn sized which I haven't heard a single thing about, but they're only $13 brand new:

    It's my understanding that these are the exact same thing as the BG XS's, just a renaming of them since they got rid of all the other sizes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what I read!

    we use kissaluvs 0 for DH he can do fitteds and covers just not prefolds. My son was 7lbs 12.5oz at 2 weeks he is up to 8lbs 5oz and fits in Rocky Mt. pockets and GM's now. The OS GM's are bulky but they work.

    They are the exact same.  I ordered a few for my upcoming LO, and they're no different than the BG 3.0 I have in small and medium.  I obviously have yet to use them, but I really like the way they look and are made!

    I will also recommend BG XS AIOs. They are my absolute favorite. You might also try fuzzibunz XS pockets, though my DD is tiny and they do gap a bit in the legs. But they are super soft and we've used the one we have during the day just fine!
