How long did your postpartum bleeding last?

I feel like it ended a lot sooner with my first son. It was done in about 5 weeks. This time, my second son is 7 weeks and it's still going. I'm BFing this time, and I thought that would help speed it up, but apparently not. Has anyone else's lasted longer than the average 6 weeks?

Well it's only been 3 weeks for me so far but the bleeding is almost gone. I think it might last another week or two.

Mine was 3 weeks with my first pregnancy, this time around I bled for 4 weeks.

This time, I was spotting by about 10 days PP. It stayed like that for about a week, then it started back up again. Boo.

Mine lasted 8 weeks. Though I'm not sure if the last week of that was my period. My bleeding was pretty heavy the whole time.

I am almost at 6 weeks and I am still bleeding. When I went to my 1 month check up (and got a paps) it was almost gone, but after that test it came back heavier than before. Every few days it gets lighter and I think its going away then it comes back heavier. UGGG!

I went for about 8 weeks. My midwife told me at 6 weeks that it may go long if I am doing too much. So try to take it easy, or as easy as you can with little ones, if you feel you are bleeding longer and it may stop sooner.
