  • it could be gas pains.  DS does this sometimes.

  • DS did this the other night, scared the crap out of me. He went from silently sleeping to screaming. He screamed 3 or 4 times, just long enough to jolt me out of a dead sleep and send me running into his room, and by the time I got there he was back to sleeping peacefully.

  • Yes.  My daughter will scream with eyes closed and never wake up.  By the time I get to her room (which is just down the hall), the screaming has stopped.  I think it is gas or teething pain.

  • We just asked out pediatrician about this yesterday.  He opined that it was likely teething related, but could also be bad dreams.  WTH a 6 month old has nightmares about I don't know.  His bottle was late? Sophie left him? Who knows.

LMAO! It's tough to be a baby, isn't it?

DD does this sometimes. I think it's reflux, because she did it constantly until we started the Prevacid. Now it's only once in awhile.
