  This is the one i'm getting, well the set i'm getting. I think it's practical because we are going to set it up in our room until baby is ready to go into it's crib. Also we will be traveling with baby for aobut a month, so we needed something portable.

  We are  getting one with a newborn napper... some babies love them because they like to feel snug and  the bassinet in the pack and play is to big.

  of the two playards i like the first one. if you want to look at other playards my husband and i choose the chicco pack n play. we dont have it yet. but loved it in the store and it has great reviews.

  Definitely go with the one with the newborn napper!  Our little guy spent his first 2 months sleeping in that next to our bed.  It makes babies feel safe and secure.  It vibrates and plays music which calmed him before bed.  We used the changing table part of it for before and after baths.  Once he outgrew it, it just turns into a regular PnP.  We travel a lot with it.

  I have the Little Hoot one. I like it and still use the changing table portion a lot. One with a newborn napper may have been nice.  But truthfully when he was really little he mostly napped on me.
