Hotel rec's for family vaca in OOB?

We're thinking of heading to OOB this summer for a couple days for our first family vacation. DS will only be about a year old by then and I'm looking for a nice, clean place close or on the ocean that is family friendly and close to downtown. Any recommendations? TIA

    The Alouette is a very nice place to stay... it's very close to the beach, the rides, and it also has an indoor pool... so if it's too cool for the ocean, at least you can have a little water action!  They also have their own little cafe`!!!
