Yeah, it's a news feed. If you subscribe to a blog via RSS you can go to your RSS reader and see a listing of each post. I use google reader, it's nice to just go to one place to see all the updates for every blog I read instead of checking them individually.

Hmmm..... makes me wonder why I didn't do this sooner. I have everything bookmarked and check them daily.
Question: Do you get a notification when there are updates or do you just check your feed?
But for TB if you see the RSS feed thing and click on it, it should open every post (sans signatures) and you can read all on one page, you only need to click to read comments.

On my blackberry it's just on the options button. On IE and Firefox it's an orange button near the address bar

Yeah, you'd still have to check your RSS reader for new posts, although there are some third party tools you can sign up for that will notify you of a new post. I think lifehacker just did a post on a tool that will text you when a new post is written.
The RSS button on TB is a small orange square at the very bottom of the thread under the Reply, Quote, Contact links for the last post in the thread. It shouldn't matter what browser you use.
