Just unpacked our dirty laundry from vacation. You'da thought we were on a month-long safari or something. No washer repairman until tomorrow. I'm counting about 10 loads ready and waiting, so far. Including the pukey stuff that I'd rinsed and thrown into the washer when it decided to commit suicide. That's wet and sitting in the laundry room sink, fermenting.
Fun times.

Feeling like crap and wish I can be home with Thomas because I have this guilty feeling in my stomach because I think I screwed up his CIO and he's been crying more than he should. {I'm sure you've read my woos on FB}

I'm trying to motivate myself to get into shape. Thru my IUIs and IVFs I gained about 25 lbs and then gained about 20lbs with the pregnancy. I have about 20 lbs to lose and just don't seem to have to time/energy to think about eating right and exercising right now. I know I need to just plan meals out better than eating whatever is there. Whiny vent over!
Hope everyone has a good day!
Married 5/12/07
Took 3 IUIs and 2 IVFs for our sweet boy
He was worth the wait!
Yeah, those are some loud crickets. i am updating my outlook calendar and cringing. i''m supposed to be on maternity leave and it feels like I'm busier than when I was at work. Last night and this morning has been dedicated to getting the administrative end of carp done for the local swim team's upcoming season (we run a May-August outdoor season that is lest competitive than the Olympic September-August stream). So up to my eyeballs in paperwork and registration prep and getting stuff together to update our new website. Ick.
I have about 15 loads of laundry waiting for me. Not including bedding and towels. I'm seriously considering phoning LG to get the kit to stack my washer and dryer and see if I can find another set used so I can keep up. This week was bad for laundry...I had a severe cold AND flu and flat out for four days. S keeps having major blowouts (she's in size 4 pampers....time to size up grrr), K won't do #2 in the toilet, she keeps freaking out (and her stomach's been upset all week), and I've had two pukers in the house.
I'm sure there is more going on, but my coffee hasn't hit my brain yet. Help!!
DH just got back form a 3-week long work trip. SO glad he's here to resume his share of the parenting (human and dog) duties! With taking care of a 9-month old, 2 active dogs and a grumpy cat 24/7, plus working 3 mornings a week (I can take Betty Jane with me to work), I was about ready to lose my marbles.
I found out that while on his trip he got 5 days off. So I told him that he owes me 5 "Get out of baby-jail free" days. I think I'll take a trip to Hawaii. Rule #1 - No DH's or LO's invited.
Michael went to the doctor for a recheck after being in the hospital. His lungs are still not clear so more antibiotics that turn poop hot pink and albuteral that keeps him up at night. More Fun Times.

Super busy here with work. DH is finally over the flu - he was quarantined for about a week in our guest room so I had 100% baby duty. We all have colds. I think Rachel still may have her ear infections. I'm in the same boat as others with laundry. Our refrigerator broke because I didn't realize I was supposed to vacuum out the front part every 6 months - I've lived here 10 years and never did it once. That is fixed now after throwing out I don't know how much food.
We got our iphones in the mail about a week ago and haven't had time to set them up yet (or have been too exhausted to in the evening). DH just told me that we got tickets to the NCAA b-ball tourney here in Denver so I'm pretty psyched about that.
I think that is enough....

Working at the moment...but happy, healthy, and feeling mostly good. I tripped a couple of weeks ago and twisted my left ankle. Then I insisted on taking Motrin so I could keep running on it. Now my left ankle is totally jacked. If that's my only reason to complain, I think we're doing fantastically wel!
Just working away here. Things have been much better with Ellie the past few days, I think she is behaving better and I am responding better to her. We had a really nice weekend; DH and I got to have Date Night on Saturday night while the kids hung out with my ILs, and we all went to the mall on Sunday where Ellie got to play in the play area for a few hours with my sister's boyfriend's son, and she had a great time and she behaved very well the whole time. Oh, and Noah slept for TEN hours on Saturday night, which was glorious! But then he went right back to waking up twice a night - sigh.
Now I have to start planning for a big party weekend at the end of March. DH's birthday is the 24th, Ellie's is the 27th, and we are having Noah baptized on the 27th as well. So we have a kids party at a bounce house place on Sat the 26th, Noah's baptism and probably at least a family get together on the 27th, and now my MIL just reminded me that DH is turning 40 so we ought to have some sort of party for HIM too, so looks like we'll try to pull something together for Saturday night. It's going to be crazy!! But fortunately my mom and dad will be here and my MIL offered to help however she can, so it should be doable.
Sounds like a lot of you are dealing with illnesses of one sort of another - I hope everyone feels better soon!!!

I'm finally recovering from my stomach virus. Aaron isn't napping after his well visit (only slept for 15 minutes in the car) and is visibly exhausted. Otherwise hanging in there.

Hi, Robyn!
I'm clearing out the "junk room" (Margaux' bedroom) because we will have a houseguest early next month. Sooo much garbage in there!
