I am curious to ask if any of you girls who have been pregnant or are pregnant with #2 or #3, if you girls suffered from morning sickness the second time around (third?)
I know I did with DS and he is our first one but I want to know the likelihood for my second or even my third LO.
TIA
Re: Those who are pregnant with #2/#3 or those who have 2/3 LO's
I am in my first trimester with LO#2 right now. I have all day nausea. It was 24/7 last week and at least it has stopped in the middle of the night. With DD, it was 24/7 from weeks 6-16. It started earlier this time, but I am okay. There is no way to predict if you will have morning sickness, as far as I know. My mom told me that she only had it with her first pregnancy and I've heard other moms say that they didn't have it with all of their pregnancies. Good luck!

I had minimal nausea with #1 (as in, I can count on one hand the number of times I felt sick). I had more nausea with this one and I did, in fact, throw up a few times. So yeah, it was worse for me the second time around. But luckily, it was gone by about 13/14 weeks.

Day Three
I was never puking, but with DS I lost my appetite for a few weeks and lost 5 lbs or so. This time around, my appetite loss was much more severe and I basically barely ate anything during my 1st tri. I lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks.
On the flipside, my girlfriend had debilitating m/s with her 1st LO and now that she is pg with her second, she is still feeling sick but nowhere near as badly as the first time.
Me either.

I am on # 3 and had Hyperemesis with all three pregnancies. I am SO done! I am over the non-stop vomiting and popping Zofran pills constantly.
Every single person I know said, "Every pregnancy is different! Maybe you won't be sick at all this time!" Honestly, by the time I was pregnant with the third I wanted to punch every single person in the face who said that.
I would hope for the best, but expect the worst.

I was mildly nauseated with #1 from weeks 8-10. With #2, I was sick (throwing up sick) from weeks 6-15. No fun at all.
Many of my friends have been sicker with their second pregnancies than they were with their first. Not sure if that has anything to do with the fact that you can't take it as easy when you are feeling crummy as you could the first time around.
I had some nausea but never actually got sick with DD and it has been the same this time around thank GOD!
