Hi all.
thank you so much for your support & encouragement these past few days. It has been quite challenging at times. For the most part they have been able to stop the contractions, but I have episodes of "breakthrough" contractions that are pretty painful. Because of that with the cpp, they don't feel comfortable letting me go home.
since I was so close to 36w & they didn't anticipate my contractions going away, we've decided to deliver baby tomorrow at noon--a valentine's baby!!! Of course if an emergency happens before then, they will deliver.
the good news is that since i've held him in until today (week 36), the baby doesn't get automatically admitted to NICU for 24 hours. If the evaluation is ok & baby is healthy, he'll get to stay with us.
so, that's where we're at. The cs is high risk because of the cpp & anterior placenta so they will have blood on hand in case I will need a transfusion. I'll be having a spinal done, but if I start bleeding out, then they'll have to give me general.
after all the nicknames we've given baby, he's now our "love bug"
thank you again for your support... Please keep sending us those good vibes!!!!
D started out as a LUCKY CHARM but ended up being our LOVEBUG

Re: F/u: still here!
Keeping you all in my thoughts! A valentine's day baby, so precious! I also want to add that Bella was 35 weeks and 2 days and came out screaming. She was perfectly healthy and your little guy is further along then her! So I'll keep him and you in my thoughts but I know how strong you are!
It's hard to believe that tomorrow's the day, it's gone so fast! I remember when we were both announcing our pregnancies!
I love Hawaii!
