did you try to get LO#2 on the same schedule as LO#1...when they were old enough to get on " a schedule" ? So did you shoot for the same bedtime/wake time? And did it work out or no?
They have the same meal, bath, and bedtimes, and they usually wake at about the same time. When DD2 was younger, this wasn't the case, but we got them fully on the same schedule by the time baby was 8mos old.
For most part I do. I'm not a super strict schedule follower but the main one I stick to DD#1 naptime is around 1-3 and I try to get DD#2 to nap at that time too.
My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! And Baby Boy joined us October 11, 2013!
No, we didn't try for it, but DD is slowly switching over to DS's schedule. She goes to bed about an hour later then him, and wakes up two hours later then him, but they nap at the same time.
I have never tried to put either child on a schedule. It just naturally evolves. lol

once the twins were on a 2-nap schedule i made sure the 2nd nap was the same time Ds1's nap was... and that bed time was the same for all 3 -- it worked out well.
DS1 started to stay up a little later- but it works out great- he comes up and "helps" us get the twins ready for bed - we put them down- then get Griffin ready... so by the time he goes to bed it's about 1/2 hour later - which works out perfectly.
It has kind of gradually happened that way. They share a room and at first the baby went down first... Maybe 30 min before? And now they both go down at the same time. The generally wake at the same time now too.
My 29 mo old and almost 8 month old have been on the same bed time / wake up time since LO started sleeping through the night. Sometimes it takes me a little longer to get LO to sleep but they still wake up around the same time. LO takes 2 naps and DS takes 1, so they take naps at different times.
Hell to the yes, lol. As soon as he dropped to two naps (around 6 months) I worked it so Lilly pushed back her nap to the same time as Owen's 2nd nap. Most days they take their afternoon nap at the same time which is REALLY nice. They do not gp to bed at the same time but they do wake up within 30 minutes of each other.
My kids are 18 months apart. They have had the same bedtime since the younger one was about a year old. Wake up times are now the same too, but that happened 8-10 months later.
Naps never lined up (a few times only). And now my older one never naps and my younger one (only 2 years old) rarely naps on the weekends either.
They shared a room from the time the younger one was about 5 months old so that sort of forced my hand in terms of sleep training.
promised myself I'd retire when I turned gold, and yet here I am

Naps, however... ugh.
