When did you first hear the baby's heartbeat?

I had my first ultrasound today and the midwife told us that we are 5 weeks and 6 days along!! I was very pleasantly surprised that we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat!!! Any of you able to hear the baby that early?

i didn't go to the doctor's that early. i saw the heartbeat on ultrasound @ 6wks1day but i didn't actually hear it until 10wks2days.

I saw the heartbeat on U/S at 6w4d, but heard it on doppler at 9w4d.

I was at the Hospital urgent care because I was bleeding and thought that I was having a miscarriage, so they did all kind of tests including an ultrasound, and there it was my perfectly healthy baby's heartbeat. The reality of being pregnant and becoming a mom hit me at that time, was so happy and excited, that was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced Smile
