Gotta love the ER on Valentines Day!

I got really sick Saturday night from some bad food I suspect and then started pooping blood (sorry if TMI). They said go into the ER if it continues and this morning.... what do ya know! So off to the ER it was, and dh had to take off work... well wanted to take me himself. Spent all day in the ER missed out WIC appointment, but thankfully everything checked out okay. The doctor wasn't even concerned about LO being harmed, he said if I'm okay then baby is okay and just mention it at my 10 week appointment. Anyone else have an interesting Valentines?

    My SIL is pregnant and just was in the ER for dehydration because of food poisoning. It's awful. I hope you're doing better!

    Thanks so much! Hope she's feeling better too! I guzzled water as soon as I got sick, dehydration is so not fun.

    I was at the hospital til after midnight last night...so technically Valentine's Day.  The spotting I have been having for weeks got worse and turned red...so off we went.  Luckily, I didn't have to go to the ER - the covering OB for the practice I use had me come to OB triage.  Even though I don't ever want to be there til after 37 weeks, it was so much better than the ER would have been.  They were amazing!  Despite the bleeding, all is well with the baby. He/she is happily oblivious and doing lots of somersaults last night.  They still can't figure out the cause of the bleeding (though my own logic makes me think it is the large fibroid I have), but at least all seems well.  We are exhausted today so will celebrate this weekend.
