What kind of shoes do you wear when you're pregnant in the summer?
I've never had an August baby and I don't know what shoes I should wear if I were due in August? My SIL is due this summer so any suggestions I can give to her?

Well, my friend who had a baby last February couldn't wear anything besides flip flops towards the end. In February.
Sooooo....I'm thinking it'll be all flip flops all the time for me, come August. I think the scorching heat and giant belly make it totally okay to wear them, even to work and dressy events, lol
what if I go to the beach though? Can I still wear flip flops in the sand?

Flip flops. I like the chunky Reef brand ones, because they support your feet kind of like sneakers.
Hell, I wore flip flops at the end with Ds and he was born in late November.

I actually just came back here to suggest hiking boots! As a CO girl, I am sure you know of some good brands. Those would be perfect for the beach and sand!

the higher the boot the better! that way you won't get sand in your feet. gross!
I am super excited to have an excuse to get nice pedicures and wear sandals to work during the summer.
I also bought a pair of croc flats (kinda like ballet flats) that are just plain black. I bought them a size big to make sure I had room for summer swelling.
