Anyone use a pregnancy/body pillow?

Has anyone used a pregnancy pillow before?

I'm considering getting a snoogle body pillow. I don't need it yet but my belly is getting bigger it seems like a lot earlier this time around. When pg with DD, I used a pillow under my belly, one behind my back, and another in between my knees. It was complicated and made it hard to switch positions.

So, I am thinking about getting a snoogle pregnancy body pillow this time around, but wasn't sure if people liked them?

Re: Anyone use a pregnancy/body pillow?

  • Ive had a snoogle for a few weeks and I really like it! It was a little expensive, but it was worth it. It'll be especially good as the belly get bigger!!

  • I bought one with my first pregnancy and it was the BEST. I bought the Leachco body pillow and I was able to sleep comfortable during the last 3-4 months of my pregnancy. I am getting ready to buy another one and I highly recommend this one, just get a darker pillow cover. haha. I think they are around $45 on Amazon.

  • Going through the boards last pregnancy, everybody swore by them.  I never used one, and made it just fine.  When the belly bonker was too heavy or bothering me, I just laid on my side and put the edge of a pillow under my belly.  Worked out great post partum as well.

  • I have the boppy and I love it. I kind of wish I had gotten the snoogle with the back support though. I might have to upgrade when I get further along.

  • I've been using a body pillow I got from Target and I love it, it totally helps with the aches and pains I get in my hips and joints from being PG.

  • After reading all the rave reviews on here, I got the Snoogle over the weekend, and it is well worth the cost!  I've slept a lot better with it.  Before I had two pillows under my head, one under my belly, and one between my legs, and was constantly re-adjusting and losing pillows in the middle of the night.  Now I just use the Snoogle, and one additional pillow under my head (I get reflux if my head isn't raised a bit).  I love it!  And I've only used it in two positions -- it can be used in lots more at various times during the pregnancy and postpartum.

  • DH bought the Snoogle for me for Christmas.  I love it!  It is much easier to deal with than 3 pillows.
  • I bought just a regular body pillow and it has SAVED my hips! Prior to the pillow I was using a regular pillow between my knees and it wasn't cutting it and now that I am starting to get a small bump it is totally supportive for it too!  I only spent $20 on the pillow and 2 pillow cases at Target.

  • I've wanted one for about 7 weeks now! I found a body pillow for $10 and it does NOTHING for me. I'm leaning more towards the Boppy pregnancy pillow, and at this rate will probably be getting one this weekend if not sooner!

  • I have the Comfort U petite. I love that it's U-shaped, so it's on both side of your body. I flip constantly throughout the night, and no readjusting needed.

  • I bought the snoogle last week and I absolutely love it!  I am going on vacation in 2 weeks and am sad that I can't bring that huge thing on the plane!!

  • Do it!  I haven't regretted buying the Snoogle one bit.  I've gotten so much more sleep since I've been using it!  It's also one of the most affordable pregnancy pillows that I found.

  • I've been using a king size bed pillow and putting it between my legs and under my belly a little big.  Seems to help.
  • I have the boppy maternity pillow from Target. I like it.  I also sleep with a king size pillow behind me.
  • I used a snoogle during my first pregnancy and LOVED it! My husband liked it too and used to steal it from me when I went to the bathroom at night. I've brought it back out for this pregnancy and I love it just as much as before. It is wonderfully awesome!
