So, last night, they ended up falling asleep at 9pm right before their next feeding was due, so we let them sleep until they woke for food... at 12:30am. Dh fed them. They later woke up at 5am (Alex) and 5:30am (Mikey)... but both had a leaky diaper (I guess I need to train DH on diaper changes). I changed them both, gave them about 1/2oz of water, and they passed out again! I think Mikey woke up a little while later, but I gave him the paci and he went back to sleep.
They didn't feed again until 7:45am, and that was only bc Dh had prepared the bottles already (before he left) and were about to spoil! So, I'm thinking a few days of this and I hope to have them sleeping through the night, maybe?! LOL
The only bad thing is I kept thinking I was going to have to feed them, I never went to bed after I woke up at 5am... and never got a chance to nap. ; (

Oops! I just read your other post. To answer your other questions:
She kind of did it on her own. We do EASY (never read the book) but it just became her natural routine. She still eats every 2.5 to 3 hours during the day, so she MUST be full by bedtime, lol. Other than that, the only thing that I do consistently is the bathtime and bedtime routine everyday around 7:30 or 8:00 and then I still swaddle her at night. She's usually out by 8:30 and if she wakes up before 5 a.m., it's usually because she got out of the swaddle.
Also, I've noticed that when she sleeps in until 6 a.m. or 7 a.m., she might have a "fussy period" during her sleep. For example, she might moan and kick a lot around 3 a.m. (her previous feeding time), but she won't cry and she'll fall back asleep. So, I don't even step into her room at this time unless she cries or does a little whine which I know means she's hungry. Also, if she does wake up before 5 a.m., it's usually because she broke out of her swaddle and so I just reswaddle her and give her her paci and she falls asleep quickly.
I think it's just a developmental thing and know I'm dreading the 4 month wakeful. So, I'm going to keep swaddling her until she breaks out of it and stays asleep, lol. I just got her the large swaddleme for 14 to 22 lb babies, lol!
I was so ready to get them for the boys, but DH refuses to let me buy anymore "useless" things for the boys. I think he didn't like it to begin with, so that was a "useless" item. I know I can swaddle Mikey still with the Aden & Anis blankets, but Alex will Houdini out of it in no time!

That is great progress! I never had a chance to respond to your last request for information but it sounds like your boys are on the right track and waking up for comfort than food. Do they wake each other up? I always wonder how that works with twins who share a room. I wonder if one would STTN if the other did not wake them up or if they are so used to each other's sounds that they don't really hear each other and wake up on their own anyway. Which I guess would make CIO or FIO (fuss it out: since Isabelle is more of a eh-eh-eh sound maker than a full on wailer) kind of hard. If she wakes up on her own and starts fussing before I want her to be awake I just wait and listen and let her fuss and hope she goes back to sleep. She puts herself back to sleep about 80% of the time. The other 20% escalates into full blown wailing for food. She eats and then goes back to sleep. Most of that part happens between 5am and 6am but since she goes to sleep at 8pm and her last feeding was at around 7:30pm I usually go get her if she does not seem like she is going to stop.
With Isabelle I noticed that she started her bedtime at 8pm every night and from there would give me her stretches. 8pm to midnight turned into 8pm to 3am and so on. She sleeps now from 8pm to about 6am give or take. She still has not given me the 12 hour stretches Sophia would give me at her age. Sophia was 8pm to 8am until I went back to work and then was 8pm to 7am. Even on weekends. It was lovely. But as long as Isabelle goes right back to sleep after that 6am feeding on the weekends...I'll take it.
I got it on amazon and thr $15 are well worth it if it means she'll sleep 9 or 10 hours straight!
