Our first son's name is Grayson John. We are having our second boy in April and can't decide on a name! Which out of these 4 do you like the best? For middle name we are thinking Lee (me and my Dad's middle name) and our last name starts with an A. Or any other suggestions would be great! We like different, but nothing too out there! Thanks
Jameson
Ashton
Anders
Asher
Emrey
Re: Need Opinions on Boy Names!
Anders! I love this name, and it's way underappreciated. Great choice.
I wouldn't recommend using Emery for a boy. It's getting hugely popular for girls.
*cries*
Yes IMO they are very very close

Asher is my favourite out of the bunch, but Asher Lee sounds like "Ashley"... hehe For that reason I would go with Ashton or Jameson.
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

I like Asher the best, for the following reasons....
This is how I narrowed down the names: Jameson and Grayson sound too matchy for siblings because of the same -son ending. I feel the same way with Ashton because of the -ton ending and your other son's -son ending. Emrey looks too feminine for a boy's name - Emery tends to be used on girls and to tell you the truth, I'd tell the girl's mom that it was an awful name, so double poo-poo on this name. Anders is a great name, but I think I like Asher a lot more. Asher is the winner!

I've never met a person with the last name Jameson to spell their name with an I. And I come from a pretty big -son surname area.
Wow, much too similar.
I'd change my vote if I'd known.
i love asher!
ashton is okay.
i don't like the other options.
Ok now...asher or ashton???
I think Anders is great-- a nice Scandinavian name (and I don't like the idea of just using it as a NN for Anderson--- where do you think the name Anderson comes from? Son of Anders!). BUT no, it just doesn't go with your surname.
The others aren't really my style, but since you're down to Asher and Ashton (which would be my choices if I had to choose)....I just associate Ashton too closely with Ashton Kutcher, so I'd have to go with Asher. I love Ash as a NN for boys, btw.
Agree; Emery is my new niece's name.
