I found out last week that I am 8 weeks pregnant with twins. It seemed to just happen over night that my clothes are uncomfortably snug and I feel huge. For those that have had twins - is this normal? I feel bloated and totally uncomfortable. Should I buy maternity clothes now or just buy bigger shirts right now?
Re: Pregnant with twins
Congratulations! I come from the experience of being a twin, not having them. It's going to be a blast!
As for maternity clothes, I say the sooner you upgrade your wardrobe, the more comfortable you will be. If you don't want to upgrade everything right away, feel free to do it piece by piece.

Congrats X2!
During my twin pg, I surrendered to the bella band (you can get them in a variety of colors for relatively inexpensive at Target, fyi) in the later part of the first tri. I just wore a lot of yoga pants. I waited to buy the maternity pants until I truly started to show (as in strangers would congratulate me when they saw my bump) around 16-17 week mark.
But just go with what YOU feel most comfortable in--if maternity suits you best from here on out, no need to worry! It's at the end of your pg that you'll find dressing is a challenge (in my next life, I want to create a line of maternity clothes that actually cover the bumps of women carrying multiples-ha!).
Let me know if you have any Q's!! I loved every min. of my last pg and was thankful to have an uncomplicated one.
Saw your post and wanted to let you know there is maternity clothes line for mothers of multiples. It is called For Multiples Maternity (www.formultiples.com)
A girl friend of mine just bought an outfit from them for work and she is loving it.
Hope this help.
