Hi Mommies of Outside Babies!
Hopefully your birth experiences are still fresh in your mind.
I'm wondering if, in hindsight, you can now recognize some indicators that labor was close by (aside, of course, from the obvious - water breaking, losing mucus plug, etc...). I've been asking some people, including my OB, and a lot of women are telling me some of the "traditional" clues, but I'm looking for some that might be a little more unconventional. Did you suddenly feel "different"? If so, can you articulate it? Maybe your pets clued you in? I'm thinking outside the box here!
Thanks, Mommies! And Congratulations to you and your Little Ones!!
Re: To Mama's of outside babies...in hindsight
I wish I had a great answer for you! But no, not really. I was SURE that my first was going to be early. I had prodromal labor for a couple weeks before his arrival. I was at a 3-4 for what felt like forever. All of the physical signs pointed to ANY SECOND NOW but no unconventional clues. My 2nd two were scheduled c-sections so no advice from those pregnancies either.
Good luck though!
The only clue I thought might be a sign of something was up is a little tmi but I was pooping like crazy. I went from barely once a day to about 4-5 times in the couple days before. Positive to this was that I did not poop on the table during delivery.
Other than that the only thing that clued me in was when I woke up with some contractions/back pain.
