  I swam in my motherhood maternity suit (halter top). It definitely wasn't a Speedo, but I wasn't really going for speed.

  I did not want to spend lots on something bound to make me look a bit like a whale, so I ended up with this for $30:

  Don't be scared of the site name - they carry non-plus size, too. This one does have a v-back, but I've had no problem with the straps staying up. There are some other options from the same brand at the same price point, too. I looked in maternity stores, but all the suits were $70+, and I'm not willing to spend that for something I need so temporarily and that isn't made from a decent material (they all seem to be spandex, which never lasts long for me).
