Enough weird illnesses already!!!

Why does my kid have to get all these weird sicknesses? First the virus in his hip joint that crippled him for Christmas. Now a simple cold turned into a sinus infection. He scratched his face up terribly and doc says that's either staph or strep from the runny nose. He started antibiotics on Thursday and it has cleared up the sinus infection and most of the scratches on his face but now he's got sores all over the fingers on his left hand. WTH?!!! Called CHOA nurse line and she has the nurse from the pedi call me back. Never a good sign. That nurse says absolutely no school tomorrow and we need to be seen first thing in the morning. She has no clue what it could be- doesn't sound like MRSA to her. So here we go again. Oh and I'm supposed to go back to work on Tuesday!!! Cross your fingers that the doc clears him for school tomorrow. Pretty please! Oh and please God don't let Sophie catch this!
