Siggy Note: Drunk Ron Swanson is on a break while Amy Poehler takes over for a while, summing up my thoughts on all this birth control, prenatal testing, women's issues stuff in the news.

  • Of what I've seen recently:

Valentines Day was super cute. I was pleasantly surprised over it.

Also The Town was AWESOME.  And Paranormal Activity 2 was pretty good.

I love me some FB  and was excited to see that movie but I hated it.  I was soo bored.  I almost fell asleep in the theater.

  • I want to see The Social Network too! We've got Winter's Bone and Bringing Up Baby here from Netflix right now - rather different movies, but I'm excited about both!

The last movie we rented and really enjoyed was In Bruges - super good!

I liked this too, but the previews were misleading I thought...Once I realized that it was not a scary/horror flick, then I got into it. Definitely worth seeing.

  • I agree that "The Town" was pretty good - we just watched that this weekend.  We also watched "Buried" - it was OK...not for people with claustrophobia!  But it IS Ryan Reynolds.  Big Smile

I loved this movie! The book was excellent too. So dark and beautiful.

O good! I was going to put the book on my wish list. My aunt said it was based on a true story.

  • I loved Date Night (Tina Fey & Steve Carrell), that was one of the last movies that I really enjoyed. I think DH & I are going to watch "Life As We Know It" Tonight :)
