Totally random, I know.

When DD was born we were Team Green and we had 2 names for each sex. I had little hospital hats embroidered w/ the names on them--the three I mentioned in the title were the three we didn't use. I hate for them to go to waste, and I'm happy to stick one in the mail to someone if they would use it. We were going to use Morgan for a girl, so it's pink w/ a flower--Alex and Evan were our boy names, and they are blue w/ a blue and green star. Super cute. And gosh, I forgot how tiny they are!!

Do you not like the names anymore? I always wondered if people use their other name choices for future children. We had a girl named picked out and since we're having a boy I have thought if we would still use that name if we happen to have a little girl at some point. All your names are very nice

LOL, we like the names, but IDK...they just don't seem like 'the' name for this baby. It's weird. We're going w/ something totally different this time, and we're solid on our boy's name...we still don't have a girl's name, but DH has vetoed Morgan this time around. Our middle names are still solid, b/c those are family names, but IDK...they just aren't right this time.

We used DesertEmbroidery on Etsy for the hats last time, and I'm sure I'll use her again--very cute, and really inexpensive.

My husband is totally hooked on Morgan for our daughter.

I like it, but it's still a bit more popular then I wanted for a name.

I've tried to dissuade him with other choices but he is pretty adamant about Morgan.

So it looks like Morgan it is. Like I said, I like it... but it's not ringing any magical "this is the one" bells for me.

The plus side is that we agreed to make her middle name Elizabeth if we go with Morgan, so if there are too many other Morgans, she has a plethora of options for nicknames (i.e. Liz, Liza, Eli, Lizbeth).

Totally just hopping in here : ), but thought this was an interesting question, Kathy : )..... we were team green with #1 and had two boys names and a girl name picked out for him... we are using boy name #2 for this little guy, and if we ever have a girl we will definitely be using that name we had picked out way back when we were pregnant w/ #1 : ).

I thought this was interesting from a social perspective also... is it not socially acceptable to stop after 1 baby?

People get so weird about other's choices on having children or not, and the number of them.

My husband and I were ostracised by our co-workers etc for not having kids. Now that we've had this accident, we are more 'accepted'. We are definitely NOT having another child after this. And many DO stop at 1 child.

My cousin said after her first and only baby was born, there is NO way she is ever doing that again. So, I know I'm not alone here

I don't think this is the debate here--the OP is already having a second baby, which is why she has the hats from her first LO.

FWIW I do think its find for people to have no children or one child if that's what they want, I just don't think its the debate for this thread.
