They were supposed to come 8:30-10:30 this morning.  Didn't show up by 10:45, so I called.  They lost our appointment.  The lady was a total biatch on the phone too and not helpful at all.  So now we have to wait until Tuesday for them to fix it.  Our problem could be worse (our remote broke, so you have to manual select everything on the box (which means going through 100's of numbers to change the channel).  I hate them, but according to messages on our HOA site, uverse doesn't work well in our neighborhood yet.  I'm definitely throwing a fit until they give us at least a $25 bill credit.

  • universal hate of Comcast is as common as the universal hate of BRU.  Some businesses just don't get it.  Write a letter and complain until you get someone to make it better for you!

  • They called me back with a customer satisfaction survey right after I got off the phone.  I took great pleasure in giving them the lowest score possible and left a long message telling them how ridiculous this was.  They could have squeezed us in if they really cared.  They couldn't have been THAT busy if they offered us 2 different time slots last night.

  • Comcast's number has an option for "if you'd like to disconnect your service, press ___ "

     

    If you choose that option, you'll get the people most likely to get you discounts. We've gotten at least $25/month off each time we've used that option.
