Trying to find a good rocking chair for the nursery...

I really like the upholstered - Pottery Barn style rocking chairs and don't know where to start looking locally! I'm hoping to spend less than $500 since this will be our last but am hoping its something that can later convert to the family room once baby is in a big kid bed! Any suggestions??

  • I'd look at City Liquidators under the bridge.  I found a little upholstered child's chair there for ~$50. I didn't want to spend that much on a PB chair that didn't even have a wood frame.  Anyway, it turns out the chair I bought retails for over $250.  The only thing I could find wrong with it is the finish on the feet is chipped.

  • I seems like lazyboy frequently has big sales. Some of their chairs are similar.
