On Friday, I posted that I was going to start charting my temp because I was certain that AF was coming. Well, she was due yesterday and has still not shown her ugly face. I tested this morning (not FMU) with First Response and thought I saw a line. I freaked out and called my hubby into the bathroom and he saw it! BUT, it was so faint that it was barely there and he didn't quite believe it.. So we went to Walmart and got a digital (Clear Blue) and it said not pregnant! I know that everything I have read on here has stated that a line is a line but I looked on Clear Blue's website and it said something about false positives being due to an "evaporation line" on the testing screen. I know that I will probably get ridiculed for a "drive by" since I am a newbie but i am wondering if any of you ladies have had experience with this mysterious "evaporation line." We plan to use FMU tomorrow to test with the digital again but i am so torn between being super excited and super disappointed.
Re: a line is a line, unless it isn't
::lurking::
I always get a positive on a regular test (FRER) before getting a positive on a digital.
I hope no one minds if I butt in...when I got my BFP, I got a positive on a FRER with FMU and a negative on the digital. I kept testing for the next couple days and my lines continued to get darker, a few days later I tried the digi again and saw "pregnant".
