Short story of my background....
Was married and my ex and I went through several miscarriages.
BF and I have been together and he knows my history. Well BF and I got a surprise of a positive test. I try not to think of having another miscarriage but it always comes back up. I don't feel the same as I did each time I was pregnant with my ex. Actually today has been the first time I felt tired. (Only 5 weeks). My first appointment isn't until 3-9-11.
Sorry for the rambling...
Let's just pray that this little one stick

Many sticky baby vibes to you! Can you not talk them into seeing you earlier because of your history of losses?
And FWIW, just because it feels different doesn't mean anything.
Neither of my pregnancies with my DH had any symptoms at all. I had one before I met him and I had a zillion symptoms within a week of conceiving.

Congratulations on the positive!
And, just so you know, my sister went through the same thing and I now have a beautiful 15 month niece, so it can (and does) happen.
I think she went for an ultrasound about every other week in order to keep herself sane during her pregnancy.

Definitely call the doctor's office and be persistent....you have a history of loss. If your hormone levels are out of whack, they may be able to supplement and the earlier you start that the better.
I had a miscarriage and we were able to figure out that my progesterone level was almost non-existent. When I got pregnant again, I MADE them see me, and no - they were not happy that I was in there at 6 weeks, but the doctor ordered a progesterone test. Sure enough, my levels were almost non-existent again. She started me on supplements and now I have a beautiful healthy baby girl! If I hadn't gotten on those supplements, I very likely would have had another miscarriage.
This is just my story - you may have other issues going on, but this is your first chance to stand up for your baby. Don't let "the rules" your doctor's appointment setter follows intimidate you.
