Babies: 6 - 9 Months

One-piece jammies in 12 month size are hard to find!

It seems that in the stores all the one-piece sleep and play jammies only go to 9 months. I usually buy a lot of DS's jammies at a local children's consignment store, but I'm afraid they won't have too many one-piece. I don't think DS is ready for the 2-piece sets that don't have footies. I found some online at carters.com but I really like my consignment store prices :( Stop growing up baby boy!!!!

  • I can't remember the brand, but we've been getting ours from Target- they come in packs of 2...they *might* be Gerber but I could be way off on that one.  They're very inexpensive. DS is growing out of the 12 month ones, though, so I'm not sure if they carry the next size up- ugh!

  • I found a few at the Carters store and Kohls.

I know Nordstrom carries a really nice blanket sleeper, but it is a little pricier

the lady at the Carters store said the 12 month ones always sell out really fast b/c people with little babies buy them up in the fall to get them through the winter.

  • I got a bunch in size 12 months and 18 months at Carters. I had a hard time finding them in cotton for a little while, but then they got a bunch of new cotton ones recently.Baby Gap also has some. MIL just bought DD 2 pairs in size 18-24 months (to grow into). One pair has feet, one doesn't, but we will just put socks on her.

I just got some of the 'stretchies' from Children's Place online.  We love them, they are definitely a favorite!  Their size sections online are bit weird though.  If you are shopping online, their newborn boy/girl section is sizes 0-3T and their baby is 6m-4T.  You'll find the 1 piece stretchies in the newborn section.

  • I just spent all day yesterday looking for some. ?Found a few at Khols but they're almost all polyester and fire prof which I'm not crazy about.
  • Thanks ladies! I'll check out Old Navy and see if I can find some Carter's at Macy's.

  • Here's a second vote for Children's Place.  I love their cotton 'stretchies' and also the fleece blanket sleepers.  They go up to the toddler sizes.

I also saw bigger sizes of jammies at Walmart.

  • We also love the Children's place ones...really great, thick fleece.  We had DS in them until he was 2 and then it just got too difficult to wrestle him into one.  They run bigger than gap/old navy and the feet part are generously sized (which is needed for my big footed kits)

  • Children's Place has really nice footie jammies, up to size 3T (or bigger?).  And I saw some carter's ones at Kohl's yesterday.

  • Toys R Us too! I ordered some from Carters and they were WAY too narrow; went to TRU yesterday and got them for $12 each.

  • I think all of our sleepers are one-piece Carters.. he's inbetween 12 and 18 months. Do you have a Costco or Fred Meyer or Kohls where you live? I have usually found them on sale at those places.. or if you have an outlet store.
