Why did I decide to test at 9DPO?!

I came home today and my internet cheapies had arrived!  I decide to pee on one at 4pm.  After about five minutes, I have this kind of, sort of line.  DH says he can see it, but it is so light I can't even get it to show up in a picture.  I'm so scared. I'm almost too scared to test tomorrow because I'm afraid it will be negative.  Also, could it still be the trigger?  I'm 11 days past trigger.

    Wow! 9 dpo, not first urine and a faint line. That seems extremely Promising. I have been following you a lot this cycle ( not in a creepy way:) but simply bc we had a lot in common and our cycle was close. I am very excited for you! Keep us updated!!

    haha, don't worry, I'm not creeped out!  I always like to follow people that are similar to my cycle, too!  When will you test?  I wish you a lot of luck.

    Damn internet cheapies! Having those around, I will POAS at the most ridiculous times. Like 7dpiui. My trigger was gone by day 5, but for some reason I felt the need to check, just to be sure (and really there was some little part of me that was hoping to see a little faint line).

    I'm 8dpiui, and am trying really really hard to convince myself not to POAS again until Tuesday. But I've got 50 HPTs!! Why not POAS every day?

    Hope your faint line is a real line!!

    Today was my test day. 14 dpiui . Beta and poas negative, so on to the next cycle. Good luck to you though, it sounds hopeful :)!

    11/10: IUI #1 =100mg Clomid CD4-8 + pregnyl trigger + IUI = chemical pregnancy
    1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
    2/11: IUI #3 = injectibles + trigger + IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 April 2011 ER 4/23 w/16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fert., 4 blasts to freeze, 5dt of 2 blasts on 4/28, beta #1 5/7 = 243... beta #2 5/9 = 491....beta #3 5/11 = 1113!!

    Don't feel bad--I tested yesterday (at 9 DPO), too. Mine was stark white, though, so I hope yours is a real BFP! Keep POAS this weekend and hopefully you'll get a darker line. :)

    I think it depends on whether your trigger was 5000 or 10,000 international units.  Mine was 5,000 and it disappeared at 6-7 DPO.  If you had 10,000, I've heard of it sticking around until 12-13 DPO.

     

    Hopefully though it was the real thing!!!  Fingers crossed for you.

    Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
    11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
    12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
    1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
    2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
    3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266
