how many oz at 8 months?

ds is a big boy, 30in and 23lbs... he is refusing bottles now and i am lucky if i get 16-20 oz of formula in a day.. he has no interest in being a baby anymore.. should i worry..

i try to put it in a sippy but he cant figure them out and once he realizes its formula he spits it out.. he hates juice and LOVES plain 'ol water!

    Sounds just like DS.  Will he eat cereal if it's a little extra runny?  We put extra formula in his cereal just to get a few more oz's in him.

    ya, i always do that!! just to make sure he isnt running too low on formula!

    LO is a big eater.  He eats about 26-30oz of formula a day.

    DD takes about 24 ounces a day and it's becomming a struggle to get her to finish her bottles.  I blame it on teething, but I could be wrong.  She's happy and gaining weight, so I'm not too worried about it.

    My DS drinks about 26 oz a day including his night feedings.

    7oz 4 times a day..28 oz total with 3 solid food feedings.

    My friend was just telling me her DD who is 9 mos. only drinks 12 oz a day. I was kind of thinking that wasn't a good thing but she said the doctor told her it was ok, since she was in the 90th percentile and is apparently big into the solids. The only thing you may want to talk to your doctor about is an iron supplement.

    DS weighs about 21 pounds and is around 29 inches. He takes 4 7oz bottle a day, plus 2oz in his oatmeal. Also eats 3 solids meals a day. He does seem to be losing interest in the bottles though now that he is eating so many new foods.
