Lucky timing w/ the disposable diaper!

DH and I went to dinner and grocery shopping tonight, and I wanted to bring a big purse instead of the full diaper bag, so we put C in a sposie and I threw a couple in my purse with wipes.  

In the middle of the store C had a HUGE poo that he'd been saving up for like, a week.  DH changed him (hee hee), but I'm glad that's one less poopy diaper for me to wash!

    That happened to me the other day. E was napping & I threw all the diapers in the wash (to strip them) so I had none to put on him when he woke up.  I had a few sposies left over so I threw one on him & he had a huge poo!  As much as I love CDing, I was glad that he got that out of the way in a sposie before I put one of his freshly washed & stripped cloth diapers on him.

    Lee has been having some less than awesome poop lately, between being sick and who knows what right now, so if we get "lucky" like that we usually have a blowout :(   I don't know the last time we did in cloth.

    We had similar luck last night (though then it was unlucky). Normally our boy doesn't poop at night, but we've been using sposies at night because he sleeps longer in them. Well, I put on the sposie and got him ready for bed. Before he even fell asleep he pooped, my husband changed him and then he was wide awake and up for a while longer. He pooped AGAIN. So we went through 3 sposies in an hour or so. GRRR.

    Sorry to bump an old post but what sposies have you found that are safe with a corn allergy? We have noticed Target brand are the least upsetting but we will be on a cruise this fall and I will have to use sposies. I already figured out the wipes problem, viva pick a size towels and a spray bottle!
