any one on celexa?

Hi everyone.  I was just diagnosed with PPD.  I had suspected at 6 weeks, but my OB blew me off.  I have been dealing for a while, but this last week I lost it and decided to call a therapist and she sent me to a NP who prescribed celexa.

 

Anyone else on this?  How long did it take you to feel OK again?  Did you have any side effects?

    I am currently on it. I take 10 mg in the am and 10 mg at night because it can make u tired. The only side effect is my sex drive was nonexistent at first but it has slowly came back. I personally have experienced ZERO other side effects and will say that Celexa saved my life and my relationship with my daughter.

    IT did only take a few days to start seeing results but I had been on an antidepressant for weeks before that. It wasnt working but was in my system so my doc did say it would work quicker. But he did also say it is one of the faster working ones. I love it! If you have anymore questions let me know.

    I have been on Celexa for about 6 weeks.  My anxiety decreased greatly after a few days. For the first 2-3 weeks I was up and down but always felt better than before starting.  For the last 3-4 weeks, I have felt pretty great!  I hadn't been sleeping well, though, so my dr. upped my dose (she said that's one of the last things to level off so it's a sign my meds weren't quite right yet).  I'm now on 40 mg.  I haven't had any side effects.  That sucks that your OB blew you off.  I hope you feel better quickly.  Good luck!
