I was really surprised to notice a few in the last couple of days. I've had several tonight and realized I hadn't had enough water today, so I'm catching up right now.
I'm a little freaked out by getting them so early. Anyone else?

I only made it to about 23 weeks last pregnancy, but last time they started around the 15th week (with twins), this time they started during my 13th week. I freaked out too, but my doctor (who is a high-risk specialist) kind of laughed and said it was perfectly normal.
IVF #1 BFN... IVF #2 BFP! TWINS!
Twins born too early at 23 weeks due to incompetent cervix
FET #1, IUI #1, 2, 3, 4 - all BFN
IVF #3 BFP!!! IT'S A BOY! Born July 16th, 2011
FET #2 BFP! Due February 15, 2013
You feel a weird tightening in your lower abdomen (or later in pregnancy, your whole stomach region) and if you poke at the area where your uterus should be, it's rock hard.

I've gotten them at about 15 weeks with all 4 pregnancies. No worries. If I remember right, my OB during my last pregnancy mentioned that BH can get worse with each pregnancy.
I got them around 18wks this time, and the last few days I have been having them too frequently for what my dr said is good... so I'm trying to lay down more (when I can) and I definitely need to up the amount of water I drink.

With my first pregnancy, I didn't start having them until almost 30 weeks. This time, I'm already having them several times per day!
I've never had painful ones. How do they feel different from labor contractions?
