LO on antibiotics for ear infection; thrush?

Hi ladies - my LO has a double ear infection and is on amoxicillan.  I'm reading that this is likely to cause a diaper yeast infection and/or thrush.  I finished a course of Diflucan for thrush about a month ago and fortunately, LO didn't have it in her mouth.  I hope she doesn't get it this time from the antibiotics.

 Anyone deal with this?  Thanks!

    If your LO is on antibiotics make sure you rinse his mouth out with about 5ml of water, it should help keep thrush away.

    I gave my LO probiotics when he was on antibiotics.  It was for diarrhea, not thrush, but he never once got thrush.  I mixed 1/2 capsule Culturelle with a bottle of EBM.  Or if he was having solids, I mixed it into that.
    DS born 8/8/09 and DD born 6/12/12.

    This or Florastor makes a kids version probiotic
