My son hates it. It's a basic Graco one. It does come in handy now that he is mobile when I need to go to the bathroom, change out laundry etc.

I used it as a bassinet with DD, then we used it whenever we went on vacation (driving there) or when she stayed with grandma for the night. Also for naps when we were going to be at someone's house all day (like being at my aunt's house for Xmas or Thanksgiving).

I plan on getting a new one with this LO. I just want the basic model with a bassinet. No newborn napper/changing station/shelves/mobiles needed! I imagine they would make it much heavier to take places.

Oh, and we used it until she was at least two or two and a half.

We have a Graco one. I'm not sure which model it is. I use it to keep most of Lucas' toys contained in the living room. He pretty much has run of the whole space so he doesnt go in there too often. Sometimes he sees a toy he wants and I put him in there and he plays by himself quietly, which is fine by me

Both grandmas have one and thats where he sleeps when he spends the day or night over there.

I have a Graco that has a bassinet feature on it, not a changing table thing though. It's pretty basic. Gabriel slept in it next to our bed for the first 6 weeks, napped in it, and he currently naps in it at daycare. We have gotten a ton of use out of it.

We've had the same Graco one since DD was born in 2008. It has the bassinet & changing table. I like the changing table since we live in a 2 story home, right after birth it was easier than walking up the stairs each time to change, & also when the family is here, some of them can't do stairs well, so that helped if they were watching them. We've taken it many, many times on trips, & if DS wouldn't need to stay in it, DD still would sleep in it at almost 3 yrs of age! We've gotten our money's worth & more out of it.

We bought a Chicco Lullaby in Nov 2008 for our first child before a vacation. We ended up using it in lieu of a crib at MIL/FIL's house and whenever we went on trips or extended family gatherings (Christmas Dinner, Thanksgiving, Easter, family Bday parties, etc.). DS still tries to sleep in it when he's at Grandma/Grandpa's house even though he's almost 2 1/2, but we primarily use it for our DD who's 7 months. We chose the Chicco because we were familiar with the brand from buying other gear, and the options suited our family. It comes with a bassinet attachment, changing area attachment, mobile (non-motorized), sound/nightlight player. Our only complaint about pack n plays in general: they're cumbersome to fold up until you get the hang of it. But, we taught FIL&MIL how to do it and they're in their 70s!

I have a Graco one that comes with the bassinet/changing table/mobile. The mobile is a waste. But the bassinet and changing table I use all the time. DS is a month old and he sleeps in it at night in our room. The changing table is so useful during night time diaper changes, especially when he pees during the change - I don't have to worry about changing sheets or anything. With my first, after he grew out of the bassinet part of it, I used the pNp at my mom's house for him to sleep in when we visited.
