How are you doing? Did you start stimming today? Start Lovenox? I'm thinking of you.

    Aww...thanks for thinking of me!!  Yes, I started stims today!!  So much to keep track of.  I started with 300 iu's of follistim at 5:50 am.  Then 5 units lupron and 150 iu's menopur at 5:50 pm and I just did the lovenox at 10:15 pm. 

    I want to thank you sooooo much for the tips for the lovenox.  I iced up and I swear the shot didn't hurt at all.  No burning, nothing.  I was so afraid of that shot and it was fine.  I'm icing it again now, so we'll see if I bruise. 

    I actually got quite a bruise from the follistim this morning, I bleed a little bit (more than a spot, but stopped in a minute) - I must have hit something. 

    Then the menopur - now that one burned going in!!  I read that it would, but I was surprised.  Although, that made me really nervous about the lovenox, because I thought that would be way worse.  So thank you again so much for your advice - it made all the difference!!

    How are you doing?  Symptoms?  Have you continued to hold out on testing?  Your beta is just a couple of days away - you're almost there!!!

    I'm so glad you're starting off well! It is a lot of keep track of! I have an app on my phone (rxreminders) that tells me when it's time to take my meds, I find it came in very handy remembering when to take what.

    Your protocol sounds a lot like mine, only I did 150 menopur, 150 follistim, and 5 of lupron. The menopur did burn, because I was doing the lovenox at the same time I used to ice all of the areas before I did them. I'm glad my tips could help- I wish they told everyone that before they give the drugs out!

     Thank you for asking, I'm still feeling dizzy when I stand too long and super thirsty. I think I'm going to pee on something tomorrow so we'll see what happens. Because if I'm not pregnant, my husband is going to cut off my super sensitive nose- I keep complaining about how bad the dog smells and even the garbage which is barely half full, I can smell as soon I walk in the house. Fingers crossed tomorrow brings good news!

    I was considering doing the lovenox at the same time, but I decided that ultimately doing it before bed would work out better than at the 5-6:00 time frame - especially since I am hoping to have to take that inject for a long time!!  I guess I could ice for menopur though too.  You're right I've not seen it mentioned to ice the lovenox or the menopur.  The only one I've seen that for is the PIO, which I will start after the ER. 

    Do you still take baby asprin?  If so, do you take it far away from when you do your lovenox shot(s)?   

    I can't wait for you to test tomorrow and get your positive!!!  I am sending thoughts and prayers your way hun!!
