I'm pretty sure I have the flu. My husband has had flu-like symptoms since Wednesday, and I have had several kids in my class out who have been diagnosed with the flu. I got a shot, but apparently it isn't doing a whole lot of good this year. I felt a little bad this morning, and then by tonight, I felt like I'd been hit by a truck. Uuuuugh. Right now my temp is at 100.4.
So my question is, should I call the doctor? I know the doctor can't do anything for you if you have the flu, but is it more important to call because I'm pregnant? I am ridiculous about calling the doctor and put it off at all costs, but I'm thinking maybe this situation is different.
Thanks for reading! Please pray that my kiddo doesn't come down with anything.
Re: Flu while pregnant
Gosh, I really don't know. I don't think it would be a bad idea just to give the doc a call and see what they say.......I think better safe than sorry when you're pregnant.
I really hope you feel better. As if pregnancy discomfort isn't enough!
